Paediatric Conditions
Children are not simply smaller adults. Because their bodies are still growing and developing, they can experience different musculoskeletal conditions and require an assessment tailored specifically to their age and stage of development.
I have experience assessing and managing a range of childhood conditions, including:
-
Sever’s disease
-
Osgood-Schlatter disease
-
Hypermobility
-
Scoliosis
-
Growing pains
-
Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritic (JIA)
Joint pain in children can also occasionally be linked to conditions that require further investigation. A thorough assessment with an experienced physiotherapist can help identify any concerns and, where appropriate, arrange onward referral for further management.
